This is a steal at $18. Much more restrained than the more fragrant & thick Pinots (like Stemmler), much more like a Burgundy. Strawberries, vanilla, plums on the nose & tongue. Beautiful clear dark red color. Two days after opening & vacuum corking it was just as interesting but with a slightly different profile. I'm buying more.

PNP, really hot initially, needs at least an hour for heat to blow off. Flavors start with lush strawberry and red fruit flavors, a little sweet at first but follows with intense black cherry, good aciidty, and great tanninc structure. Outstanding wine, reminds me of the Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara PN. For what Pinot's cost, this is a fantastic QPR as currently available for $18.

Very agreeable. Not just a simple table wine. A good drinking Pinot for under $20, are you kidding me?!? Going back for more!

Aromas of red licorice and red raspberry. Medium to full bodied. Too much oak has overpowered the strawberry/cherry on the palate and left it too creamy. Finish tastes overripe and manipulated.

Smooth and full this is a new world Pinot that pairs better with Pork than lighter fish. I get raspberry and a little bit of twizzler much like ecola. But ya know what, I'm liking it. I think the flavors are in balance with its nice tannic structure and touch of acidity. Really opens up over the course of an hour and becomes almost Shiraz like in character, with some more full flavored and fruit forward black cherry notes; some peppery spice. Quite a good buy, but not necessarily a great food wine.

As far as pinots go, this is a solid buy. Aromas and flavors of cherry and strawberry, but not overpowering. Picking up some herbal hints as well. Well balanced with nice structure; this is really enjoyable.
