Aromas of dark cherry, cassis, and toasty cedar. The mouthfeel on this is really smooth and flavorful. Pure cherry and cassis. Sweet tannins on the long and smooth finish.

A little tight at first, then opens up with what reminds me of a jar of potpourri. Flavors of cherry, anise, spice; even a touch of sweetness. A full-bodied wine and a nice finish. One of many pretty nice cabs coming from the latest CS offerings.

I bought one bottle when it first came out and finally got around to trying it this past Sunday. I wish I would have tried it sooner so I could have bought more since it seems to be sold out at all of the stores near me. I decanted this for about 1 hour and it was still a bit tight but opened up while we drank it. It is very smooth and went well with steaks from the grill.
