This wine has one of the most unique noses I’ve come across; one I can only describe as dried cranberry and singed wet straw; almost pungent but in a good way. On the palate a blend of dark and light fruit along with damp earth and toasty notes. Overall a smooth drinker and fairly well balanced.

Aromas of red cherries and red licorice. Medium body wine with similar flavors, kinda drops off on the mid palate. Finishes with another little burst of cherry. A good pizza or burger wine.

This wine really smells like tart cherry-vanilla ice cream on a sugar cone. The taste follow through with the nose and has minimal complexity. This wine is what it is: a fruit forward everyday drinker. The finish is minimal and the tannins are not prevalent. I like this wine for what it is, but I feel like it's $4 overpriced.

Good solid CdR. You can tell Mont-Redon's been at it in Chateauneuf for a while, the tendency is on the brawny side - but not overpowering in any real sense, just not subtle. Various dark fruits smooth things out beneath the animal-fur nose (which is not as aggressive as it may sound). Other CdRs may be better integrated but this is nothing to cast aside. Delicious, actually, if a bit heavy.
