This needs a good couple hour decant. Thereafter, a very nice aroma of currant, cocoa, cigar and a green element. Comes together nicely on the palate, med-full, with more currant, dark cherry and leather. The cab is evident but also has some Bordeaux-like flavor. Nice finish. Seems a marked improvement over last year’s vintage.

Enjoying another bottle of this wine. Very good; recognizing more how this can get even better over time. I'm buying more.

Great nose of dark cherry & cocca. Very Bordeaux like. Medium full on pallet with some acidity. Good finish. Will get better with some time.

Surprisingly, disappointingly meh. Like others I got a great nose immediately on opening. Decanted an hour, smooth-ish but very little flavor on the palate, then pfft it was gone with minimal finish. Slight improvement on day 2 but still far short of expectations, especially considering the vintage.
