A recent Chairman's Choice that my son in Napa picked up on. This is a small winery with a good rep. This "Choice" Cab was such a bargain at $21 - I sent 3 bottles to California where it sells for $35+.

I see their Chardonnay was served at the White House!

Yeah that was a Chariman's Selection in Jan/Feb, code 11083 there's 21 bottles total remaining across the state at the moment. I couldn't help noticing Wine Spectator's horrible review of it however, they gave it a 67 and used the phrase "wet cement character." Who knows?

I just saw their unfiltered Chardonnay on the White House menu for the Queen as well. Don't think they'd try to serve her any wet cement! My wife likes their Merlot.

The Newton Merlot is in the stores now at <$18. I am now waiting on some Flora Springs Trilogy 2003 (a Bordeau blend) at $30. I will be shipping some of this out as it goes for $45 in California!!

Shipping wine from PA to California? Talk about irony! (Is that where you live?)

BTW it looks like they're getting Puzzle again in "late August" for $22.99.
