Sea Smoke Pinot Noir

The LCB has a small amount of Sea Smoke Pinot Noir available on the pawineandspirits.com web site. (Yesterday there less than a case available in one store in Pittsburgh and one store in Hershey, but today it's already gone.) Wine Spectator has nothing but good things to say, as does Gary Vaynerchuk.

2007 is trickling in to a few stores, Southing is Code # 13287 $59.99, and Ten is Code # 15642 $93.99 (gulp!), although both prices are competitive as per wine-searcher. Haven't seen it on pawineandspirits.com yet but would expect to in the next couple days. I was told there will be 15 cases (or six-packs?) of Southing and 12 of Ten for the entire state.

If you loved the '05 Southing from the second PGH tasting -- and most of us did -- now is your chance to buy some so you can bring it to the 3rd tasting!

The "Southing" was available to allocation list members at $49 and the "Ten" at $79 (both plus shipping).

The 2007s do not ship to the allocation list members until November 30.

I wouldn't want to drink the 2007s before 2011.

Currently three stores have the Southing in stock- 2 in Pitt and one in Allentown.
Only two in Pittsburgh have the Ten.

I'll probably pick up a bottle of the Southing.
