Now I still need to pick a wine (or two)!
Made my decisions. Ready to go.
Anyone know the parking situation at La Tavola?

Honestly I don't know but typically Mt. Washington isn't much fun. I'm planning to take the incline up from Station Square and it's only a couple blocks from the top.

It just occurred to me that tonight is the Pittsburgh Whiskey Festival, about which I have been reminded of incessantly via e-mails from the Pittsburgh Wine Festival. Apparently they believe that people who attend wine festivals also attend whiskey festivals? Our gathering tonight would seem to disprove that theory...

If you get there before me, reservations are under James Kalina-10.

Just reading the post. Another nice BYOB restaurant is river moon cafe in Lawrenceville. She will make dishes just for you dinner if you ask. Small but attractive and good food that goes with wine. They have a website. Just there last night and really enjoyed our dinner. I also take my own glasses for reds.
