So, we are back from France and November is right around the corner. We need to schedule something soon. I think either the weekend of 11/13-11/14 or 11/20-11/21 would be best. Thoughts?
Also, we need to think about venue. Do we want to do another restaurant (Bibou?!?) or do we want to try our place (but I would need to run that by the spouse)?
Any others interested in coming this time?

I'm in, of course, and recommend the experience highly, for anyone on the fence.
As to venue... High as my expectations of your hospitality are, I think I'll vote for a public venue, if only because I'm not in a position to reciprocate. Bibou is a great choice, though it's often pretty crowded, which might be tough if we are more than the six we were last time.
I'll throw in Koo-Zee-Doo, which, in spite of its les-than-compelling name, is the best Portuguese food I've had in a very long time, and damn good food in its own right.
Both of them are pretty wine-friendly.
I'll also throw in Fond, where I had a very good meal recently.
Also, just to complicate things, LBF allows BYO on Mondays, and Supper does likewise on Sunday.

Sorry great wine friends. I have not been to the site because of less important things. What could work for you in Dec?

It's alive!
("O, Sweet Mystery of Life,
At last I've found you...")
I'm reasonably flexible, given any kind of lead time.

Timo lives! I thought I had done something to offend either you or our lovely wife (would not be the first time!). So December works for me (us). Let's get a time down and then work on place.
As a teaser, I just got some Clos de la Coulée de Serrant--a 2001 (not the 2006 in the PLCB stores!). Have a bunch of others as well.
Maybe we need to get some of the Pittsburgh folk out here to give us a boost (J2K?).

Maybe we do need some Pittsburgh help.

Depending on the date, if you did it on a Saturday I'd probably be willing to make the trip.

The eponymous Mark? That would be awesome! Would Saturdays the 12th or 19th be workable for all interested?
I've thought about joining the Pittsburgh Team for an excursion since I'm out there quite a bit, but Friday night is the time I am never there.

At the moment, both work for me. Whatever's good for folks, really.

Sorry should have been more specific. My Saturdays in December are booked, would need to look at a Saturday in January. But I would not be offended if you choose to do it earlier without me.

As far as anyone's said, Fridays are definitely an option. Does that help?
Also, I'm open to a school night, if that works for folks: has the advantage of expanding the restaurant choices. Some places allow them one day a week: Le Bec-Fin on Monday (along with a $35 prix-fixe), Supper on Sunday, others.

Ah. You can
only
do it on a Saturday, but not until January. Got it.
Well, as far as I'm concerned we can do something now
and
something mid-January...

Over on the cellar tracker board, we have been organizing a larger event to take place at the end of January. Here is the link to the thread:
CT Thread
Let me know (or join the CT discussion) if you are interested so we can get an idea of numbers.

Cap,
There is still room at the Cellar Tracker gathering Jan 30th in Philly. Are you interested? Masi3v and I will be there.

I'm PMDias over there.
Yeah, I'd assumed that, it being several weeks past the planned time window, this gathering was off. I'm hoping to see you guys there, wherever there turns out to be - some mild difficulties may be brewing on my end.

Oh, okay Cap/PM, cool, I didn't know. I'm looking forward to the event and meeting everyone. Should be a fun time.
