Beaujolais Nouveau

2009 Beaujolais Nouveau is released today, with tastings scheduled across the state over the next week.

They're also doing three "big city" parties today, in Philly, Pittsburgh, and Grantville near Harrisburg. I went to one at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh last year and they had a lot of nice appetizers in addition to the wine, all free.

I'll take the free apps but I'm not down with the Beaujolais Nouveau!

Has there been any BJN other than DuBoeuf? I'm with you that BNJ is not very exciting but would be interested if there are different producers than the norm.
