Great time, great food, and great wines everyone!!
Mark, can you start a title under the main section so we can post comments and review the event?

Completely agree with J2K –really great time, and many comments to post; not the least of which will include jonradus-maximus' stealth insertion of a "stumper" wine into the cab tasting, and dontime's impersonation of Paul Giamatti.

I sent Mark my notes and pictures, so he should have something up soon. So, what's next.....????

I wanted to learn as much as possible about Rhone & drink as much Cab as I could so it's killing me to have missed these past 2. How about a 'bring your favorite' tasting? That way I can count on bigred & don to bring something like I missed....I'll organize this one if no one else has another idea already

Another great event. Thanks to all for bringing such terrific wines. Kudos to jonradus for throwing in that merlot to stump us. Lots of regions & wines we haven't tried, so what's next?

I'm good with jlburd organizing the next one and making it a "bring your favorite". Time is a wasting - lets make a decision and go!

You tell 'em dontime! It's time to get the party started again. Each tasting seems to get better and better...

Yeah, a decent amount of time has passed since round 8. We should try to get something lined up, particularly since Memorial Day weekend will likely be out of the picture. If we do a "bring your favorite", do we still want to do it blind?

jlburd has indicated he is planning #8, so I am sure we will hear from him soon. I'll put some pressure on him tonight when I see him at the PA Wine Festival :)
