I love Beaujolais, but not really a Nouveau drinker. Does anyone besides DuBeouf do Nouveau? What do you like about it?

What are your favorite Beaujolais? I'm a big fan of Julienas, Morgon, Moulin, Fleurie & Brouilly - most I've had are DuBoeuf's. I don't think it's available much stateside but Domaine Matray in Julienas is my all time favorite.

Hmmm...where did you find that tasting schedule? Doesn't seem like they're advertising it very hard, I can't find reference to it anywhere and the tastings calendar is blank:
http://www.lcb.state.pa.us/plcb/iCal/calendar.asp? date=11/15/2007&calendar_ID=1611

While I'm happy they're having a tasting, I have to say that its pretty disappointing that they're having them at a grand total of only three stores across the state, on one day only, and only from 4-6PM! (Come on, how about 4-8PM, or...).

That said, I've never had a Beaujolais that I didn't like at least a little, although among those Nouveau is at the bottom of my list. I definitely prefer almost any Moulin-a-Vent or Fleurie over the non-cru (but who wouldn't). Beaujolais happens to be my Dad's favorite wine and last year for Xmas I gave him a "sampler pack" of four different crus, and yes all DuBoeuf. It wasn't until I set foot in a wine store outside PA that I realized that there were winemakers besides DuBoeuf who made it!
