Far past time for this: Let's look at Friday July 28 or Saturday July 29 for a tasting (drinking) dinner. I have some ideas about places and wine themes, but need a settled date before I approach restaurant folks - so let me know if either date works for you...

Paulette and I are both free for both nights. If you had waited a week, you would have hit my natal day. But I'll probably start celebrating by then anyway.

News:

Our dinner will be at Scratch, 1720 Lowrie ST, 15212, in my home neighborhood of Troy Hill. Chef Brandon Blumenfeld will make a menu specifically for us at $40 per person.

He is interested to know about the wines we will bring, so do declare when you have decided on something. For my part: 2011 Pieropan La Rocca and 2003 Masrtoberardino Taurasi Radici.
