PA-based contest

An importer friend of mine is running a contest for some of his PLCB wines. Basically you just send him a photo of you drinking the wine and you're entered to win free bottles. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/PicenoWines/posts/

Jack is a friend of mine, but I also happen to think these wines are excellent values.

Celli Albana: This wine has been awarded Tre Bicchieri (the top wine award in Italy) three years running. Dry Albana is a little odd and perhaps not for everyone -- it's quite savory -- but this is a great one, and it's only $12.99. Of the three, it's the must try.

Leo Ripanus: Rich, hearty red (85 Montepulciano / 15 Cab Sauv) that straddles the line between old and new worlds. Another QPR steal at $15.99. Has some age on it but should stand up fine (assuming the PLCB didn't leave it in a trailer earlier in the summer).

Lajella: I don't know if I could ever get excited about a 100% Passerina, but this one is a good summertime white - fresh, easy and different. I think it is also $12.99.
