Wine Spectator FREE online access

Until October 1 Wine Spectator is offering free online access to their reviews database (here). Clearly they are trying to get you hooked on something you'll be willing to pay for but hey it IS free.

I usually have to take their reviews with a grain of salt; I find myself disagreeing with their reviews (in either direction) fairly often but at least it's a place to start if you're curious about something.

As they have done at various times in the past, Wine Spectator is once again offering free access to their entire site including the paid section, through November 29. This is to go along with their unveiling of the top ten wines of the year which started today. (Because of the crush of visitors the site is running pretty slowly at the moment.) Best part is probably their huge online database of reviews.
