Chairman's Selection glitch

We've had a glitch in updating the Chairman's Selections the last couple days. We didn't process any updates for a few days. Now we have them all, but you may notice that the status isn't always correct...many are listed as "New" or "Updated" when in fact they may have been available for a while. Those of you receiving automatic notification of Chairman's Selection updates received an e-mail this morning with many wines listed as "previously unavailable," which is incorrect. Our apologies for this error!

The Chairman's Selection page now shows all current and upcoming wines, and we are working down the list to ensure that status of each is shown correctly (New, Updated or neither). This process should be completed later today.

Well my feeble programming skills have once again been called onto the carpet...nearly all of the Chairman's Selection wines are now showing as having been removed from the current list, which of course is not the case.

Until we get everything sorted out, e-mail notification of updates will be temporarily suspended. Hopefully everything will be back to normal in a day or two.

In the meantime, if you click on a wine on the Chairman's Selection page and it says "Recently removed from Chairman's Selection list" you can probably ignore that.

OK I think the bugs have been sorted out with the Chairman's Selections and notifications are running again.

Also, with all the new ratings people have entered (thanks everyone!) there are now some display options to enable you to be more specific about the types of wines you want to view...go check it out on the ratings page.
