Yes, I thought it was terrible, even for $8. If you want an inexpensive NZ Sauv blanc I'd recommend the Nobilo for $12.

I have not had them, but the name alone makes me avoid them. I guess I was not the demographic they were shooting for when they decided on the name.

There are a number of much better SBs in the pipeline, anyway: Omaka Springs is usually reliable. I'll second the Nobilo, though in the past I got it for under $10. Guess it's been a little while.

Haha, one man's plonk is another man's treasure. We tried Cupcake because of the price and went back to buy a case. Perfect summer picnic wine.
