I found it ironic that philafoodie would use the example of a wine being located in Allegheny Co. that he couldn't get in Philly. Since Uncle Ed has been Gov. there's almost no chance that a desirable wine available here won't be laying around in cases in between Lancaster & Phila. This is a method that works the system well. I've used the process a dozen times or so that past two years. One caveat: don't be dissuaded if the PLCB stores give you conflicting stories about who should order. Your local store is supposed to do this, but you may find a less-motivated PLCB staffer tells you to call directly (only to have the stocking store tell you that your local store should place the order).
