2 Interesting Zins

Both Chairmen Selections:

The Mariah was already rated by ecole,
Mariah Vineyards Zinfandel, Mendocino Ridge 2004, but it was also written up here.

I haven't seen this,
Highlands Zinfandel Howell Mountain 2003, rated but at $14.99 it's probably worth a try. Let me know if you do.

I did not find the Mariah to be very interesting, drinkable, but not as a zin in particular. The Highlands, on the other hand is definitely Zin like, with spice on the palate and a even fruity nose - a very earthy red-brown coloring finishes this wine.
