Blend of mostly grenache, but also, tempranillo, shiraz, and monastrell. Decanted two hours. Typical nose of raspberries. Full bodied, and initial flavors of rapsberry and chocolate and dark fruit but it's followed by heavy tobacco, leather, earth, and a lot of heat on the mid palate and finish. Alcohol didn't really start to blow off until hour three. The tobacco, leather earth flovors are still very strong. I've never drank a grenache with such intense heavy flavors. It's an interesting wine and seems to need time to mellow. Big strong wine for $16. I think i'll buy another and wait a few years/
