Didn't see this wine on the PA Wine Talk- Chairmans Selection list. This wine is fantastic. Big ,bold, power packed, old world wine. Good mix of fruit, tannic structure, and well balanced, not over oaked. If you have, ready to drink now, I decanted @ one hour.

Yea, I know this was in the prior clearnance at $30 I think. It is a great wine, the opposite of that sierra carche stuff. Here was my cellar tracker review -

2/23/2009 rated 93 points: Easily the best wine I have had this year. Extremely well balanced, red fruits like raspberry, but also some plum and a little currant and just a hint of dark chocolate. Good mouth feel as tannins are definitely present and needs a decant. Took about an hour to really open up, this is a complex mamma jama that is distinctively old world in character with just the right amount of acidity and spice. Had with steaks from Reading Terminal Market, which, although expertly prepeared, simply fell short as this was better than the rib-eye deserved. Badasstical my friends...
