Was in Greensburg last weekend and had dinner at
Vellozzi's just west of town on Rte 30. Great food and one of the best wine lists I've seen in Pa. Heavy on the italin wines, but its ten pages long. I could spend a year there.

Best,

Mike

Cool, thanks Mike. We drive back and forth on Rt. 30 near there all summer, will definitely check it out this year.

I had lunch there a few weeks ago, nice place and good food. I was checking out the wine list also, I think there is a specialty wine list too. They actually have a pretty cool small wine room downstairs with stone walls. There was a cellar down there behind a locked metal gate. I peeked in and saw some older bottles but there didn't seem to be any temperature control and the room was quite warm. So take caution ( or inspection) when ordering old expensive bottles.

That is a great wine menu. And they have numerous bottles with some age. The prices are a little high, but that's to be expected at a restaurant.

I didn't happen to see any Valle Vista on the wine list; however, it should suffice just the same :)

thanks for the link mikev - looks like a great place
