Mondavi Oakville Cabernet 2008

Thanks for cracking one open, Bigred, glad to hear you judge this to be a great Napa Cabernet! The current sale is over on August 28th (Sunday). Next month this is not on sale, and will be normal price, 39.99. The '08 is arriving in region 2, but due to there being 4 warehouses, some parts of the state could still see the '07 coming into stores. Hopefully the vendor will put this up for sale again in a few months and still have the '08 available, but that's a bit of a gamble with the recent WS score and the resulting demand for this wine. Even at 39.99 if you see the '08 it seems more than worth the price to stash away a bottle or two in the cellar. The '07 scored 91 from James Laube (WS), so it's certainly a quality Cabernet as well. With my limited wine budget, the '08 was just impossible to pass up (only bought one, wishing to God I had the money for a few more lol).
